MatBoss makes it easy to store all of your match videos securely in the cloud. As you record matches, those videos are stored locally on your device—until you’re ready to upload them. This article walks you through the upload process and best practices.
? When to Upload
All match videos recorded in MatBoss remain on the device they were recorded on until they are uploaded. That means if you used multiple devices during an event, each one will need to upload its own videos.
We recommend uploading videos immediately after each event to:
Free up space on your device
Avoid storage-related issues
Ensure your videos are safely stored in the cloud
? How to Upload Match Videos
1. Check Your Internet and Power
Before you begin:
Make sure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network
Plug in your device or confirm you have enough battery to complete the upload process
2. Open the Video Uploads Tab
From the MatBoss dashboard, click on the Video Uploads tab in the left-hand menu.
If you have videos waiting to be uploaded, a red badge will appear next to the tab showing how many are pending.
3. Upload All Videos
Click Upload All Videos at the top of the screen. MatBoss will begin uploading every match in your upload queue one by one.
4. Upload Individual Videos (Optional)
If you only want to upload specific matches:
Find the match in the list
Click the gray cloud icon in the Video column to upload just that video
5. What Happens After Upload
Once a video is successfully uploaded:
MatBoss will automatically remove the video from your local device to save storage
The video is now accessible across all devices connected to your MatBoss account

Always upload match videos right after each event
Uploading large numbers of videos will take time—speed depends on your internet upload speed
If your videos won’t upload, check with your IT administrator to make sure MatBoss is whitelisted on your school’s network. Whitelist info is available in the MatBoss Knowledge Base.
