Manually Creating an Event in Your Scorebook

Not using a TrackWrestling or USA Bracketing integration? You can still build out your team’s full competition schedule directly inside MatBoss. Whether it’s a dual, a tournament, or a multi-dual event, adding it manually is fast and easy.

Step-by-Step: Add Events Manually

1. Navigate to the Events Page

From your MatBoss dashboard, click the Events tab in the left-hand menu.

2. Click the Plus (+) Button

In the lower-right corner, select the “+” symbol to begin creating a new event.

3. Choose the Event Type

MatBoss supports three types of events:

• Dual Meet

• Tournament (Individual Format)

• Multi-Dual (Tri, Quad, Dual Team Tournament, etc.)

Select the event type that matches your competition format.

?️ Tip: For multi-dual events, you’ll first create a parent event and then add each specific dual meet within that parent.

4. Fill in Event Details

After choosing the event type, enter the required information:

• Scorebook — Choose which scorebook this event belongs to

• Opponent or Tournament Name

• Date of the event

• Starting Weight for the dual meet or round

5. Sync Your Device

Once you’ve entered all the details and saved the event, your updates will sync automatically.

After syncing, the event will appear across all connected devices using your MatBoss account.
