Manually Creating an Event in Your Scorebook

Modified on Mon, 17 Aug at 3:48 PM

Not every schedule comes from TrackWrestling or USA Bracketing. If yours doesn't, no problem — MatBoss lets you build any event straight into your Scorebook by hand: dual meets, individual tournaments, or multi-dual events.

Here's how to set one up.

Step 1: Go to the Events Page

Navigate to the Events page in MatBoss.

Step 2: Tap the Plus Symbol

In the lower right corner, select the +.

Step 3: Choose Your Event Type

Pick the format that matches what's on your schedule:

  • Dual Meet

  • Tournament

  • Multi-Dual Event

Step 4: Add the Event Details

Fill in the required details for that event type:

  • Scorebook

  • Opponent or event name

  • Date

  • Starting weight

Step 5: Building a Multi-Dual Event

Multi-duals work a little differently. Create the parent event first, then add the individual dual meets underneath it. Every dual stays organized under one umbrella event.

Step 6: Sync and You're Done

Once your device syncs, that event replicates across your entire account — every connected device, updated automatically.
