If you have captured video, but noticed a mistake in the scoring—no problem. MatBoss gives you the flexibility to edit individual scoring events without needing to rescore the entire match.

⚠️ Note: If you need to completely redo the scoring from scratch, check out our Rescoring a Match tutorial instead.

? Editing a Scoring Event

Step 1: Navigate to the Match

From your MatBoss dashboard or Events tab, locate the match you’d like to correct. Open the match to bring up the match review screen.

Step 2: Enter Scoring Edit Mode

Click the pencil icon located to the right of the scoring timeline. You’ll now see all scoring events highlighted in yellow—this means they’re editable.

Step 3: Select the Event to Edit

Click on the specific scoring event you’d like to fix. This opens the Edit Scoring window.

Step 4: Make Your Changes

Within the Edit Scoring window, you can:

  • ? Change the scoring event type (e.g., switch from Escape to Takedown)

  • ? Switch the wrestler who scored the points

  • ? Adjust the time of the scoring

  • ? Change the period the scoring occurred

  • ? Delete the scoring event entirely

Make your desired edits, then click Save in the upper right corner of the Edit Scoring window.

You can also add a new scoring event at anytime if missed by clicking the "+" symbol near the bottom righthand corner.

Step 5: Exit Edit Mode

When you’re done, click the X to the right of the scoring timeline to exit edit mode and return to match review.

That’s it—your match scoring is now updated!
