Rosters never stay still. Wrestlers move up in weight, transfer in, graduate out, or end up entered twice by mistake. MatBoss gives you the tools to keep your roster clean and accurate all season: edit details, set your lineup, merge duplicates, and delete or retire entries.
Here's how each one works.
Edit an Existing Roster Entry
Navigate to the Roster page.
Select the wrestler you want to modify.
On the wrestler detail page, select Edit in the upper right corner.
Update the wrestler's details and save.
Set Your Lineup with the Depth Chart
From the Roster screen, open the Depth Chart tab.
Assign wrestlers to their level and weight.
Once your lineup is set, MatBoss automatically prefills the correct wrestler for that weight and level every time you create a new match — no manual entry required.
Merge a Duplicate Wrestler
Duplicate entries happen. Here's how to clean them up:
Go to the wrestler detail page of the roster entry you want to merge into another entry.
Select More in the upper right corner.
From the pop-up, select Merge Wrestler.
Select the roster entry you want to merge into.
Select Merge in the upper right corner of the pop-up.
You'll land on a single, consolidated wrestler profile with the match history from both entries combined.
Delete or Retire a Wrestler
MatBoss lets you remove wrestlers who've left the team — but with one important safeguard: a wrestler with match history in the system cannot be deleted. This protects your team's results data.
Wrestler has matches on record: Change their level to Former instead of deleting. This removes them from your active roster while keeping their results intact.
Wrestler has no matches on record: Select Edit from their wrestler detail page, then select Delete Wrestler at the bottom of the page.
Important: Once a roster entry is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
