Adding an External Video

Discover how to seamlessly incorporate external videos into your MatBoss account, enabling efficient scoring and analysis for comprehensive match management.

Accessing the Scorebook

1. Navigating to Event Details: Begin by accessing the Scorebook from the main dashboard. Locate and click on the "Event Details" button to initiate the process of adding an external video to your MatBoss account.
2. Adding a New Match: In the upper right-hand corner of the Scorebook screen, identify and click the "Add a Match" link. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to input essential match details such as the date, weight class, and wrestler names.
3. Saving Match Information: After entering the necessary details, click the "Save" button to confirm and save the match information. This action will ensure accurate recording and tracking of the external video within your MatBoss account.

Uploading the Video

1. Selecting the Video: Locate the desired match video and either drag it onto the designated window or click the yellow button to access the file system on your computer. Choose the external video file you wish to upload for further processing and analysis.
2. Initiating the Upload: Once you have selected the desired video, click the "Begin Upload" button to commence the upload process. Observe the progress and confirmation messages to ensure that the externally recorded match has been successfully uploaded to your MatBoss account.

Scoring the Match

1. Adding Scoring Events: To initiate the scoring process for the uploaded match, click on the plus icon in the upper right-hand corner of the video window. From the subsequent dropdown menu, select "New Scoring Event" to begin adding specific scoring events for comprehensive match analysis.
2. Inputting Scoring Details: Within the pop-up window, input the relevant details pertaining to the scoring event, including the scoring type, time, and associated wrestlers. After providing the necessary information, click "Save" to confirm and add the new scoring event to your match.
